A Surface Fit for Champions
For the 2024 and 2025 events, FieldTurf Landscape was selected to provide a turf system that met the elite standards of Westminster, one of the most respected and historic events in the dog world. We installed over 60,000 square feet of TruRoll turf with an underlayment pad, creating a soft, consistent surface for dogs to prepare, perform, and compete on.
From agility to breed judging, our turf played a quiet but critical role behind the scenes. It needed to feel natural underfoot, perform flawlessly under pressure, and look great on national television. TruRoll delivered, earning praise from handlers, organizers, and broadcast crews alike.
Behind the Scenes: Two Shows, One Standard
Our partnership with Westminster began with the 2023 show at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. The venue, famous for hosting the U.S. Open, was transformed into a championship-ready environment across multiple zones including judging rings, warm-up areas, and walkways. Our team worked under a tight timeline to meet WKC’s high standards without compromise.
In 2025, the show returned to Madison Square Garden, the original home of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. The full-circle moment brought the turf center stage in one of the world’s most iconic venues. Once again, our team delivered a flawless installation that supported high-stakes competition while presenting beautifully under the lights and cameras of primetime TV.
